About Jake Seal
Jake Seal rose to prominence in the UK as a film producer and pioneer of the entertainment industry. Having enjoyed a multifaceted career spanning several decades, he is also an accomplished entrepreneur, financier and technologist.
His innovative contributions to the film and entertainment industry are numerous, with Jake having drawn on his intricate knowledge of a wide range of technologies and cinematic techniques, including stereoscopic 3D, advanced 3D live-action holograms, augmented reality, virtual reality and virtual set technologies.
Over the years, Jake has advised and structured several studios and companies, including FilmoTec GmbH, AGFA Motion Pictures, InovisCoat GmbH and Asphodel, which he relaunched as PVS Studios. He is known in the filmmaking industry for championing first-time directors, including Stephen Campanelli, who directed Momentum and Grand Isle, and Alex Pettyfer, who directed Back Roads. Jake has worked with esteemed actors such as Nicholas Cage, Kelsey Grammar and Ethan Hawke on multiple projects, as well as working with the same distributors multiple times.
Jake’s filmography is rich and diverse, with his numerous successful titles showcasing his creativity, expertise and experience. Some of his most notable works include Grand Isle, Breaking the Bank, Blaze, Back Roads, Born to Be Blue, Jeepers Creepers 3, Jeepers Creepers: Reborn and Willy’s Wonderland. Jake Seal was proud to be involved in Island Girl, a film set on an island off the coast of North Carolina. Produced by Jake and directed by Dror Soref, the movie follows the story of Lili, an aspiring fashion designer who returns to the small fishing town of Mutiny Island following the disappearance of her adopted mother. She finds the island locked in tension between its original and new occupants. As the locals grapple with this conflict, Lili attempts to find her mother and keep sight of what really matters. An adventure film, Island Girl is the first instalment in the Amani Chronicles Trilogy. It not that not only warms the audience’s heart but keeps them on the edge of their seats with its gripping storytelling. Following the legend of the pirate Blackbeard, the film explores themes of justice, family, mystery and love.
Originally based in London, Jake Seal now works in multiple cities worldwide helping businesses grow and develop. He and his wife, Jodie Seal, a former Miss Australia, have a daughter and three sons.
